More Information on Our Ingredients
We use the whole animal - not just the trim - meaning that our product nutritional analysis is as consistent as possible to avoid tummy upsets.
Can dogs eat raw pork? Yes definitely! The concern with raw pork used to be a bug called Trichinella. Trichinella has not been seen in British Pork for over 30 years. Just to be sure though, all our pork is frozen for 3 weeks before it is sold to make absolutely sure it is safe.
Our Wild Salmon Oil has a guaranteed DHA and EPA analysis, and is regularly tested for heavy metal toxins to make absolutely sure that your puppy is not consuming anything harmful.

Nutritional content of our foods is calculated using nutrition profiles of each ingredient. We use the same sources and the same cuts of meat to ensure that our product is as consistent as possible but as with any product made from whole foods, nutritional values will vary slightly from batch to batch depending on the factors like season or feed type of the animal used.
What are the 'additives' and why use them?
Zinc is particularly important for skin health and healing and can sometimes be low in other raw completes. The Zinc Oxide and Zinc Sulphate used in some other pet foods can be poorly and unpredictably absorbed. We chose Zinc Picollinate because its bioavailability is far better (it is better used by your dog!).
What is the 'picollinate bit?' - It's 'Picolinic Acid' - just a piece of the amino acid tryptophan that is made when Tryptophan is broken down :-) Nothing scary - promise!
D-alpha tocopherol - Natural Vitamin E from vegetable oil - a powerful antioxidant to prevent cell damage. It also prevents cell damage in the tub before you feed it ensuring your dog's dinner stays in optimal condition!
Vitamin E deficiency is common in both animals and humans and can increase the chances of developing degenerative diseases and cancer - so we felt it was vital that there was enough to protect both your dog, and his dinner! :-)
